Signs your gutter system is undersized

Note: connecting downspouts directly into underground drain lines or municipal storm systems involves site-specific and jurisdiction-specific considerations we evaluate case by case — it's not something we do by default without assessing where that water is going.
Gutter repair vs. replacement
Isolated issues — a pulled-away section, a leaking seam, a bent hanger — are often a straightforward repair. If your system shows widespread sagging, rust-through, or is simply undersized for your roof, replacement is usually the more practical long-term fix rather than repeatedly patching an aging or undersized system.

Do leaf guards actually work?
