Enhanced GAF warranties are available on qualifying roofing systems — not automatically on every roof. Here is exactly what each warranty covers, who provides it, and what determines eligibility.

As a 2026 GAF Certified Plus™ Contractor, Saia & Sons Restoration may offer qualifying homeowners enhanced GAF warranties, including System Plus and Silver Pledge options. Eligibility depends on the roofing system, product selection, installation scope, registration, and manufacturer terms. Contractors enrolled in GAF certification programs are not employees or agents of GAF, and GAF does not control or otherwise supervise these independent businesses. James Hardie fiber-cement siding is available. Saia & Sons Restoration does not currently claim James Hardie certification. A certificate of insurance is available upon request.
Four Layers of Coverage — Compared
Not every roof receives the same warranty. The coverage you receive depends on the products selected, the full roofing system, proper registration, and the manufacturer’s terms in effect at the time. Always review the actual GAF warranty document for the controlling terms.

Warranty summaries above are general descriptions only and are not a warranty. The controlling terms are those in the manufacturer’s published warranty document and your written proposal at the time of the project. Enhanced GAF warranties require a qualifying GAF roofing system, eligible products, proper installation, and timely registration with GAF. Some products, retrofits, repairs, or partial installations may not be eligible.
Common Warranty Questions
Does every new roof get an enhanced GAF warranty?
No. Enhanced GAF warranties (such as System Plus and Silver Pledge) are available only on qualifying GAF roofing systems with eligible products, installed by a GAF certified contractor and properly registered with GAF. Repairs, partial re-roofs, or non-qualifying products may not be eligible.
What is the difference between GAF System Plus and Silver Pledge?
System Plus extends material-defect coverage across the full qualifying GAF roofing system. Silver Pledge adds GAF-backed coverage for the installation workmanship on qualifying systems. They are separate coverages provided by GAF, each with its own terms and eligibility.
Who provides the warranty — GAF or Saia & Sons?
The material and enhanced GAF warranties are provided by GAF. The workmanship warranty covering Saia & Sons’ installation is provided by Saia & Sons Restoration. We register qualifying manufacturer warranties on your behalf when applicable, but the manufacturer’s warranty is governed by GAF’s terms.
Are warranties transferable if I sell my home?
Transferability depends on the specific GAF warranty and product, and is subject to GAF’s transfer terms and any deadlines. We will explain the transferability that applies to your system in your written proposal.
What is GAF Certified Plus?
GAF Certified Plus is a GAF contractor certification program. Certified Plus contractors may offer qualifying homeowners enhanced GAF warranties. Contractors in GAF certification programs are not employees or agents of GAF, and GAF does not control or supervise these independent businesses.
Can I see proof of insurance?
Yes. A certificate of insurance is available upon request.
